While we do not provide lunch for teams, there are numerous restaurants close to campus for teams that wish to purchase lunch. Here’s a list of fast and affordable options close to Columbia that we would recommend:
Dig Inn (2884 Broadway, New York, NY 10025): Seasonal fast-casual American cuisine.
Food trucks: There are usually food trucks and carts parked outside of Earl Gate, which is across the street from Barnard’s main gates. The options generally include Korean, Thai, Chinese, and Halal.
Junzi Kitchen (2896 Broadway, New York, NY 10025): A fast-casual Chinese fusion restaurant that features custom noodle bowls and bings (wraps).
Shake Shack (2957 Broadway, New York, NY 10025): Fast-food burger chain. Teams should note that lines here during lunch hours can get very long.
Sweetgreen (2937 Broadway, New York, NY 10025): A vegetarian restaurant featuring salads and grain bowls. Note that Sweetgreen does not accept cash.
Milano Market (2892 Broadway, New York, NY 10025): Italian style deli with sandwiches, soups, and other deli options.
Tom’s Restaurant (2880 Broadway, New York, NY 10025): A casual, sit-down American diner that was featured on Seinfeld.
